Yes, I am now on a roll, having now discovered that my word documents can be downloaded for sharing.

Here are some of my more useful school pages:

My Outline for this next year

I intend to get another more structured Art curriculum and Music curriculum so that is why there are blank columns for those subjects. For Music so far I have scheduled out The Story of the Orchestra. I went through the book and worked out where good breaks were for lessons and then enter the lesson numbers into my outline.

For Science we use God’s Design for Life by Debbie Lawrence and Richard Lawrence. I really like how the lessons can be so short or extended out with the extra activities occasionally suggested.

For History we use Story of the World Volume 1. Again like with music I have read through the book and broken the chapters into shorter lessons and added in the activities from the Activity Guide that I think will most interest my children.

Obviously I have an older version of Sonlight as I am calling it PreK and I really have no idea what the same level is called now.

Here are sections out of each of my lesson outlines:

Excerpts of Lesson Outlines

I then copy and paste each lesson into the appropriate day in my Lesson Planner.

Excerpt of Lesson Planner for 2008

The list of books from the Sonlight PreK curriculum was created by a lady called Janet a while ago and I edited out books that I am not able to get hold of easily in Australia. She has the files for each PreK year on her Yahoo group as far as I remember. They are a great support group too.

So there you go. I don’t think you need to see my pretty front page, you can create your own in Word with clip art. And my calendar for attendance is pretty boring too. lol

I hope you have fun creating your homeschool binder. It really helps my brain knowing that it is all in one place.

Best wishes,
CV

Sorry I can’t be much help. I got so over paper and how much I was wasting everytime our week hiccuped that I have gone to a computer based homeschool organisation method. I use Homeschool Tracker Plus and only print out the week after we are finished. So much less pencil and pen work, and quite frankly my time is better used elsewhere.

Best wishes
