I have spoken before about my home management binder. Now I have gotten this whole loading files trick sorted I will show you some of my functional pages.

This one took a lot of work to sort out the first time and each time we move house I have to adjust for things like porches, spare rooms, fireplaces and combined kitchen/dining rooms. Doesn’t take long though.

I first learnt how to break my home into zones from Flylady but then also got the idea of creating my own from the MasterPlanBook Yahoo group who take you step by step through creating a plan suitable for your home and lifestyle.

I like having a plan, but as I have mentioned before I am not always great at implementing it being inherently lazy. I am still listening to Cindy’s talks on Ending Scheduling Frustrations Forever and hopefully this is the year it happens at least in something more than a very erratic way as I now have a first grader as well as my fourth grader who is still at second grade level. More on that some other time.

This is one idea I used for a while but it had some short comings. Quite frankly though I think it could be useful again with some adaptations. I find it hard to carry a 3 ring binder with me everywhere and when I started using this set up as my calendar also I would frequently lose information or forget to enter it when I got home. I do divide my good ol’ Collins Diary up into the same areas and I find it a lot more portable.

Well, I guess that is a few more ideas shared. I don’t mind if others copy these forms and adjust them for their own use. I would hope that no-one would try to make money from them though as I feel the ideas were given to me freely and so in the same manner I pass them on.
